Food4All - Farming App for Developing Countries (@Onefor4)
WHAT: Food4All is an application (mobile and web) that lets farmers collect and analyse their data. The software will give farmers advice on how to optimise their yield. Food 4 All aims to create a virtuous cycle between the different stakeholders: farmers, NGOs, companies and research institutes. Farmers can regularly collect important data from their agricultural plots with a Smartphone and a simple and intuitive application. The GPS allows them to draw the shape of the plot, the camera allows you to make comments (... disease on crops), the application can also record the transactions on their property (labor, input use, irrigation, ... ), to manage the farm equipment and inventory. At this stage of data collection, no Internet connection is required. Only in the second time that the data will be synchronized on a computer with internet connection (in a school, hospital etc.)
